Finally, a product that 'fits with good form and function' as depicted. This is my third cover for my MacBook Air - not an easy product to find a decent cover for! I was looking for something that wouldn't add a ton of weight, would be functional, would 'fit' (close easily), would allow for dissipation of heat, but wouldn't be 'slick and cheap-looking' - and THIS IS IT!
Laptop Shell Macbook Air
It has a nice 'rubberized' finish on the outside, easy to hold (although it DOES pick up fingerprints easily - but they all do), fits very well on the Air, and protects it well, too! It closes fine (stays open a little, but, what do you want, you're putting a cover on it) and it 'looks good', not like some cheap piece of plastic. Good value for the $$$. You can see the Apple logo through it. I've own several of these calm shells from different mfg. This one is better than the ipearl in finish. I also have a couple of incipio too.
This item is nice for the price but does not for as nice. It does not have enough of the tabs that snap to the lap top to keep the case secure so when grqbiinh your computer to open or close the case bends liknit is going to unsnap I'd like to give 3.5 stars for fit and finish since the matte coating picks up the oils from your hands or greasy fingers and does not clean off. I purchased another hard case cover for my MacBook earlier and just didn't like the color. I am not a pink person, and what I thought was a little more purple in the photo was something that I just didn't like in pink.

I volunteer at our church's pumpkin patch, so I love the color orange. First, I absolutely LOVE the color! The orange is vibrant without being neon. The orange is very pleasing to the eye, like an orange popsicle. I like how it is colored enough to be orange but translucent enough that you can see the glowing Apple logo! It looks super cool in real life! Secondly, I like it's thin aesthetic.
The orange barely peeks out around the edge of the screen. Lastly, I like the way the case is made. This case is made of a solid weight plastic which seems like. I bought this cover to go on my Macbook Air. I absolutley love it! I did have some problems when I first put it on because I tried to put the cover on while the laptop was open and I was unable to get it fully on.

I would recommend placing the cover on the laptop while it is shut and making sure that all of the edges and rim are snapped along the laptop The cover is not bulky at all. It is hard plastic with a leather like material on the outside. I really like the feel of the case. It feels much high quality than most other covers that I have seen in the stores. The case is also much more visually appealing than the other covers that I seen. There is a cut-out around the apple emblem on the top of the laptop and cut-outs on. The package arrived without any damage.
It snapped onto my macbook air 13' so easily. I love the cover and have had compliments about the case.
If you wanted a case that showcases the apple logo, this one won't really do it. The apple logo only shows through if your screen brightness is all the way up and if you are like me and hardly ever have your screen brightness to full power, then the apple logo will rarely be seen. The material itself is smooth and nice to the touch. I can't speak to the durability or lasting power of the case itself since I've only had my case on my macbook for a few days.
