Dheemanth Nagaraj Intel Fellow, Silicon Engineering Group Intel Corporation Dheemanth Nagaraj is an Intel Fellow and architect working on server CPU development and new product innovations in the Silicon Engineering Group at Intel Corporation.
Based at the Bangalore Design Center in India, he leads efforts in product innovations that target emerging computing usage models across server CPUs and Intel field-programmable gate arrays (FPGAs). Nagaraj also co-leads the India Site Technology office. Since joining Intel in 2007, Nagaraj has led multiple generations of Intel® Xeon® processor-based server CPUs from concept to productization. Among his key contributions, he helped conceive Intel Xeon D processors, a density-optimized and low-power product line for the hyperscale cloud, networking and storage market segments.

Nagaraj is a recipient of two Intel Achievement Award, the company’s highest recognition. Before joining Intel as lead micro-architect for the Intel Xeon E7 Westmere-EX processor, Nagaraj was an expert member of the technical staff at Hewlett-Packard Company. During his seven-year tenure there, he specialized in CPU design for Intel® Itanium® processors, PA-RISC processors and chipsets.
Nagaraj earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Surathkal, in India; and a master’s degree in electrical and computer engineering from Purdue University. He holds nine patents in the areas of cache coherency, memory reliability, availability and serviceability (RAS), and architecture. He is also a frequent speaker at industry events. He was appointed an Intel Fellow in 2018.
