This was posted on the Mac Pro section, but I thought I'd share it in here. Check out this display. LG 34UM95 Ultrawide Thunderbolt display.

Lg monitor free download - LG Electronics GoldStar Monitor Drivers, Fantasy Football Lg Organizer, WebCam Monitor, and many more programs.

Looks amazing. Benefits of an ultra wide 21:9 aspect ratio but not pixel height challenged like the current crop of 2560x1080 displays. And it looks to run off Thunderbolt like Apple's display (with a TB daisy chain port, too) though pictures also seem to show a full-size DisplayPort connector and an HDMI connector.

I would love this at work where I most often have multiple windows open. My Thunderbolt display is nice, but this would add, what, 50% more space on to the edges. Edit: and it has a matte display finish. Not glossy glass like Apple's. Click to expand.I've bought expensive cameras and lenses from Adorama for many years now and have always been satisfied.

I bought my 2012 Mac mini from their just-as-well-regarded competition BH Photo&Video only because it came bundled with AppleCare (and Parallels). I would not have any qualms about buying from either.

FYI, there is an upcoming variant of this monitor from LG's professional products division. I understand it will come in black instead of silver and will have a longer, 3-year warranty. Search the interwebs for model '34UM94-P', and check out massdrop dot com about a potential group buy for folks in the US. I'm driving it with a 2GB 680 fine via displayport.

I'm having sleep issues though. When everything wakes from sleep, the display remains black but I can see my mouse cursor moving around. The only way I can get things back is to press the MP power button a time or two and hold it for a second or a bit less. That seems to wake it right up.

It's odd too, since I can see the mouse moving on a black screen. Obviously the display and the Mac are both awake. This is with the latest NV web drivers and an EVGA card that I believe is the same as the official card, and flashed with the EVGA BIOS. I'm not sure what you mean by fully utilize. I hope I won't get ripped apart for asking this question here, but since this monitor is sold only through the Apple Store, I think this is the appropriate place. I intend to buy the LG UltraFine 4K, because it's the smallest 4K monitor available (and I need it to be small-ish), it seems to be of good quality, and the price is great too. But I'm using Windows 10 on a Dell XPS 15, and the monitor has no controls whatsoever. Has anyone had a chance to hook up this monitor to a Windows computer?

Is it likely that drivers will be made available, so one can control the monitor via Windows 10? Other reasons why the UltraFine 4K might not be a good choice for me? Thanks so much! Late to the party here, but have extremely relevant information. I have the LG UltraFine 4K display.

I'm using it right now with a 2016 Razer Blade (with Thunderbolt 3) running Windows 10. Using the Thunderbolt 3 Port, the display works. There is an issue in that the ambient light sensor does not have an appropriate driver for Windows 10, so the brightness will not automatically adjust. Color seems to be another issue as well because it appears I'm stuck with the sRGB gamut as opposed to DCI-P3, but I haven't had the pleasure of having this monitor for more than 2 hours, and need to do a lot more research into the issue as it's well out of my experience.

Anyone know how to change or create color gamut files for Windows? Next step is to get a Displayport to USB-C cable and see if that works with the Razer Core. Might be able to drive graphics that way, and if so, it's a huge win.

If there's no solution to the color gamut issue, and you can handle a 24' 4K monitor, then I highly recommend the Dell P2415Q. It's high quality, has a couple USB ports and hits 99% sRGB. I've had one for two years-ish (I honestly do not recall.) and it's been great.

I like this smaller monitor, however, and it has no dead pixels, unlike my Dell, which has 3. I hope that helps! Edit: Windows updated overnight, and the LG monitor no longer responds to input when anything else is plugged in to the USB-C plugs. Those have to be unplugged for monitor to work. Sound no longer seems to work from the monitor. Edit #2: Works seamlessly with Dell's XPS 12' 9250 running Windows 10.

Lg 700e Monitor Drivers For Mac

Seems to interact much better connectivity wise from both TB3 ports. Still cannot use the monitor as a USB hub nor does the ambient light sensor work. Both due to driver issues. I tried searching, but was unable to locate drivers for the device so far. Edit #3: Apparently, I had disabled the speakers on the monitor and have re-enabled them.

They push sound down, but it can get quite loud. Initial sound quality is ok, but that's probably the source.

Will test with better music later. Relying on memory here, so info may not 100% correct, but. Check the cable. Ensure the cable is correct as not all USB-C cables are compatible with display transmission. (Very hard to tell from cable, but if you're using the one from LG, then it's compatible). Check for firmware updates.

The Caveat: The connection from the Blade to the monitor was essentially hit and miss. Ultimately, I recall that I had to unplug the USB-C cable from either the monitor or the Blade in order for the connections to work. It became so tedious after a few days that I returned the monitor. I almost wish I hadn't, as I went back to Mac very very recently. That said, LG may have come out with drivers since then, but I did not search because I am lazy and need to leave the house. I hope there's a solution for you, as I'm thinking of repurchasing the monitor by late fall if I'm still on my Mac at that point. Thanks all guys effort on this post.

I've managed to fully utilized my LG Ultrafine 4K with a normal Win10 PC. The key equipment is as below: Sunix UPD2018(Support USB 3.1 Alt Mode - displayport 1.2): Galaxy GTX750 Ti GC 2GB (Support 4K by displayport): How I cable all these equipment? Video Card(display port) Sunix UPD2018(display port) LG Ultrafine 4K Note: Originally, by using only default driver of the video card, the monitor can only show 640x480. However, after updating the latest driver on nVdia, everything is working properly with 4K. Hope this post can help others. Thanks.
