About a few years back, myself and some other subgun shooters have some pretty serious issues with Freedom Munitions ammo in subguns; OOB detonations, squibs, destroyed brass, etc. It may work great in closed-bolt Semis, but MGs are another story. I haven't purchased ammunition from them since I got a refund for the batch that caused OOBs in my Mac, so I'm not sure if they changed their loading specs/brass usage. I'm not knocking what you are saying(I've never fired Freedom Munitions ammo) but isn't complaining about someone not testing ammo in an open bolt subgun kinda pushing it? The vast majority of people will never even hold one.
This is coming from someone with a M10 in 45(not sure if yours is in 380, 9, or 45). It mostly gets geco ammo as of late but it has had a bunch of wwb and even wolf I had left over. Has anyone had a problem with flyers with Freedom Munitions reman 9mm? I am not Jerry Miculek, but I can hit a standard target at 7 yards no problem. But sometimes when shooting FM Reman out of my G19, ill fire and there will be no hole on the target. I have also gotten 1 stovepipe, and one doublefeed all using freedom munitions No problems using other ammo. Do you think I or the gun am the problem, or would you put it down to the ammo? Thankfully I have shot all of it, I won't be buying more. This happened when Howell CNC purchased Ammoload, and decided to see what would happen if their powder hopper caught fire.
