Just got back home with a new to me gently used Ural rig and what can I say! I have met a lot of motorcycle dealers and have bought quite a few bikes - my experience at Mike's is hands down the best I have ever had at any dealership!

From the initial contact with Any to conversations with Kyle and Rich to getting everything wrapped up with Tammy, this was the smoothest and the easiest bike buying process ever. Everyone we met at Mike's is super nice and friendly. I confidently recommend Mike's to anyone in the market for a new or used motorcycle - and they have quite a selection, too! Mike's should be the kind of dealership that other dealers should aspire to be. I could never, in this testimony, begin to describe what your dealership did to assist us. Mike and Chad far exceeded anything I've ever seen. They went WAY out of their way to rescue us.

WAY out of their way to help us in a manner of kindness, and just true goodness. It was NOT put on to better their dealership. It WAS gentleman doing what was right, but going way above and beyond. Mike and Chad, you are both gems.

We initially came in to buy my wife a vest. We bought a new Fat Boy Lo from Greg instead. Two weeks later we bought my wife an 883 Superlow also from Greg. We were impressed with his product knowledge, patience and genuine desire to help us find what we were going to be satisfied with.

Since then we've been back to buy accessories from Cheryl, get technical help from Jason (both have been terrific in their support) and every time Greg has been over to make sure that we're well taken care of and to see how we're enjoying the bikes. Every one at Mike's has a great attitude and we've been made to feel like part of the family. Thanks for what has been (easily) the best buying experience that we've ever had. I recently purchased a used ATV from Mikes Famous. What wonderful people to deal with, it was a very gratifying experience. I encountered some problems while registering the ATV in my home State of New York so Kevin took all my necessary New York State paperwork, completed it and mailed the documents back to me, done.

Theyre attitude is a genuine whatever it takes and they will assist you with anything until its right. Thanks go out to all at Mikes Famous. Its the way all business deals should be handled.

Best regards. Just had my 20K service done on my Road King. Great work - the tech noticed right away that some small shavings were in the primary and found a worn down clutch bearing - (I'm the second owner) huge catch, could have seized and caused damage or a much more expensive fix if left alone. Also reduced some engine vibration and recommended options for improved performamce, even emailing me after hours.

You guys go the extra mile to make sure my ride can at a fair price without a run around. It's refreshing to have a service dept.

Care about my bike as much as I do. I'll continue to bring my current and my future rides to Mike's - keep up the good work! I wanted to say thank you to you and your staff at Mikes Famous Harley Davidson for a great experience purchasing my new HD Ultra Limited. I purchased it in June, 2015. Prior to visiting your dealership I went to other Harley Davidson dealerships to look into purchasing a new bike. Your dealership was the last one that I went to. There was no need to look any further.

During the initial visit to your dealership I had the pleasure of dealing with you, Rich Petersen in Sales and Kevin Dennis in Finance. Working with you to finalize the sale could not have been any easier. It was a real pleasure.

Rich and Kevin also did an outstanding job at making my purchase easy and enjoyable. Since purchasing my bike I have purchased quite a few accessories from your parts department and have had your service department install some of the accessories on my bike.

Both, your parts and service staff did a great job. I have owned a couple successful businesses over the past 25 years and I know what it takes to get a business running properly on all cylinders. You have accomplished that. You have an incredible dealership with a great staff. Thank you again for a great experience. Randy Gerovitz. Mikes Famous staff went above and beyond for me on a Sunday after the store had closed for the day.

We were going to the fireworks when my 2003 roadglide blew the oil gage and I had to pull over off the ramp. I went to Mikes and noticed that they had just closed but still inside so I called and Stacy answered and I explained my issue and she opened the door for me.

Then Chad helped me with what I needed and took his time to make sure that I had the right part. I was so thankful and grateful that Mikes staff went totally above and beyond for me. I recommend anyone with any interest in a purchase or anything Mikes Famous is the place. They are the BEST!!! There is a reason why Mike's Famous Harley sells motorcycles and some other dealerships, in various states don't even care to talk to the customer.

This makes it 4 (FOUR) motorcycles from Mike's. Various years, all brand new or two years old, Still impecable condition and extremely low mileage. A recent dealershipship didn't want to talk to me after how I have multiple Harley's. This brings me to the CUSTOMER SERVICE Staff. Everyone on Mike's staff greets you like a person and are very personable themselves. If you ever walk into this deaership and the display of bikes', the greeter, motorclothes looks like a mall, and the authentic Coco Cola building memorabilia will overwhelm you at first sight. What is more convienient is the price is actually on the bike itself.

Anyone can brouse and is always welcomed. A member of sales will ask if you like to sit on the bike, or maybe just 'fire it up', for a few seconds. Hear the bike roar as the sound of the pipes engulfs the showroom.

Going through all the functions of the bike. My purchase, FLHTUC unlimited had all the LED lights on and it lit up the shop as well as being seen from all angles.Awesome. Just to mention, Mike's staff, Michael (Greg) as he is known by, has fun selling.

He cares for the customer. What is my concerns, not the concern of the dealership.

If my issues are taken care of, the dealership will receive my business and I don't have to travel across New England to find the right bike, The year, mileage, cost, color, and service, If anyone travels as I have done for a quite some time now, just to find the right bike, this is the dealership. Mike's Famous of New London. I know you will NOT be disappointed. From hello to goodbye, the experience was phenomenal.

I spoke to Tammy via e-mail and over the phone about a bike I had my eye on. She guided me through the process and made me feel comfortable to make the one hour drive to the dealership. I sat down with Santos who was an incredible person - although he was technically a sales person, he was more of a tailor than a pushy sales person. He helped give me all the information on the bike and I bought the bike I went for. It was even better than I imagined.

The dealership was clean, state of the art and all the staff was very polite, helpful and happy to earn my business. I'm already referring people and picking out a bike for my wife. Would give this place an eleven out of ten! I came in to check out a specific bike advertised online which turned out to be a turd. It was a steal of a deal, but you get what you pay for, which they pointed out to me. The bike needed a lot of work and based on my needs, they felt it would not be a good fit. They were right, I do not want to tinker around with a bike.

I want to start it and go!!! So, I decided to check out other bikes while I was there because I had a good feeling about the place.

Overall, I found the staff to be very friendly, extremely helpful and they took the time to answer all my questions. They also had plenty of new and used bikes to choose from and the showroom is pretty cool!

In the end, I got a fantastic deal on a used 2005 Kawasaki Vulcan 1600 Classic. I never felt rushed throughout the buying process. Mike was extremely fair and honest throughout the negotiating process and delivered what he promised. Petro spent a considerable amount of time discussing the features and benefits of the different bikes I was interested in. What impressed me most about Petro was his follow up after the sale.

Any questions, concerns or requests I had, he jumped on it immediately and took care of it. So to all you fellow bikers, you need to check out Mikes Famous Harley Davidson! Its worth the ride! I Don't know where to begin with this one!!

We were riding up 95 from Cincinnati on vacation and saw the billboard, since we hadn't stopped at a single Harley-Davidson dealership to that point, we stopped at Mike's. My wife started looking at the usual stuff. Shirts, pins, and poker chips. I walked through the bikes. Found a 2012 ultra that caught my eye.Chris ran some numbers and they were good!! So.Everyone from Mike the owner, for letting us pop a tent in his yard to sleep.

Eric alonzo on twitter: xc: much success for machines

Ozzy, who got the financing set up Kevin, that made it work and Chris for being not a salesman, but a professional. Everything worked out well in the end. Both partys worked for this one and I would buy another bike when I get to New London again. This was definitely an experience and a tale to tell. Kudos to Mikes!! It's no doubt that these guy's are the best in the business. There inventory is in my opinion, the largest in the area.

There service department and service team is down right phenomenal. Today, I bought my first Harley Davidson Sportster XL1200 custom. The team of sales specialist was outstanding. Very patient, great advice, a tour of the facility and most of all, in no way pushy.

Eric Alonzo On Twitter: Xc: Much Success For Machines

They allowed me to feel the love you feel when you spot your bike. It's true, it is love at first sight and the test ride of this awsome machine just sealed the deal for me. That along with the truly great price. I would highly recommend this dealership for your 1st bike or if you just want to upgrade.

Mike's Famous, you have a customer for life. I would like to thank all the employee's at Mike's.

My son decided to buy a motorcycle last Sunday. We called and spoke with Magic who stated that they had the motorcycle we were looking to buy.

Magic stated that we would have the best experience buying a motorcycle from Mike's, I thought right I heard that before. We went to Mike's the next day (Monday), had a great experience, I could not believe how nice everyone was. A couple of hours later we drove home on new Fat Boy Lo. What a great experience. I would recommend anyone who is looking to buy a motorcycle to go to Mike's and check it out. The employees at this dealership know how to treat its customers like people. Brought my '03 Road Glide in at 50,000 miles for a strange noise in the engine.

Thought is was a cam tensioner but no, it was much worse. Jason walked me through the bike as he explained how they arrived at the correct diagnosis. All the while I was freaking out about the possibility of having to sell my bike due to the expense.

And worrying about my wife's reaction to the cost. Seeing the bike stripped down like it was didn't help my cause either. Jason was very patient with me (even offered me a hug), probably spent an hour with me as I went through the 7 stages of grief. He talked me through the process and asked me if my wife loved the bike (which she does) thinking she'd be on board with the repair.

Turns out she was and now I have a fresh low end on my '03 and she's running like new. Love my wife and I think I love Jason too! I'd been planning to visit the new location since it opened and after taking the HD factory tour in York, PA last month I decided it was time to go with a Harley based on the great folks we met down there and the way the bikes are made.

I went in looking for an Electra Glide Classic Ultra Limited that I had seen in the on-line inventory. At this point I met with Austin, we went searching for the bike and found it was sold. No problem there, we found some on the floor that would fill the bill and had a great test ride. Long story short, thanks to Austin and the rest of the great staff, I now own a 2011 Classic Ultra Limited. Everyone went out of their way to ensure I was happy, especially the Service Department after some issues were found with a new front tire. Just a great buying experience all around and I'd highly recommend Mike's Famous to anyone. Austin, Great job (the bike is fantastic!!).

Thanks to all for an outstanding experience. Although my dealings go back to 2006 with Mike's Famous HD, I am writing this on behalf of thr US VETERANS MC, Connecticut Shore Chapter. Last Monday 6/23 I went one of my members as he wanted to buy a new bike. We were greeted by Lois at the door.

So as she roller skated into the store and we walked we started to look at the new bikes. My friend Roy decided on a new Deluxe. He traded in his 07 Heritage. As his paper work was being done my eyes fixed on a Street Glide Special. I looked at Lois still roller skating around and said if you can mae the numbers work I would buy that bike. So they looked at my 2012 Heritage, worked the numbers and when all was said and done I had my new bike with a payment $100 less then estimated when we started talking.

Eric Alonzo On Twitter Xc Much Success For Machine

However by Roy and I buying new bikes poor Lois had to take off her roller skates twice so she could take them to service before we rode off on them. Another member of our club John D bought a new Fat Boy slim from Mike's back in May. Yesterday (Saturday) another one of our memberd John L bought Roy's old Heritage.

So four of our five members have now bought bikes from Mike's. So now I'll have to get John L's dad Gary down to buy a new Harley.

Gary has already said his next bike would come from Mike's. Readinf all the testimonials I was surprised to see that my one from 2006 was still up. So what they say is true your never forgotten after the sale. To Russ, Kyle, John Morris, and Carol Mike's employees for years and to Lois my newest friend at Mike's your all great. To the old friends who have now moved on, Heidi, Lisa, Mac, George, Melanie your the roots that made my loyalty to Mike's. And to Mike himself a real stand up guy. My Street Glide Special is now the fourth bike I bought from Mike's.

These people are all wonderful. I have a pair of WileyX riding glasses I had purchased previously from your Groton location. The gasket had worn out. I brought the glasses to your new location In New London with the box I had purchased them in and spoke to Glen. Glen gave me a new gasket with no questions, no problems and no hassle. Glen made me so HAPPY! Glen made my first visit to your New London location extremely wonderful and pleasant.

Glen is an asset to your company. My husband and I will highly recommend your dealership and stop by more often. Many thanks!! Sincerely, Kathy Haack. My buddy and I stopped by a few weeks ago to check out the new building. I am in the market for my first bike and wanted to see the selection they had there.

We were blown away, he usually goes to another shop where he lives out of state and said it is the nicest bike dealer he's been to. Just an enormous showroom area which is nice to have rather than bikes on top of each other like most other places. We were walking around and anyone who worked there asked us if we needed help so it was nice to know we were not being ignored. We talked to Matt in sales when we were looking at bikes and I was happy to hear they will be doing riding classes here soon also. All in all a 5 star deal, staff, and experience here Thank you for a great staff, great selections and also good luck with the new facility. With employees like this you will make more people happy. See you soon on e I get my license.

Mike, first and foremost thank you for your support with the military! I am a Veteran of Iraq and Afghanistan and its nice to see that there are those that still show their support. The new store is extremely impressive and very customer friendly. I couldn't stop bragging about the living room setting and the Listerine in the bathrooms.

Your staff is top notch, I was assisted by Kimberly on the floor and Bill in Service. Both had great personalities and were very helpful in my purchases. Your store far exceeds the one I go to on Long Island.

I will be back to CT soon and it's my goal to visit your store every time. My next visit I will be riding and I will bring company with me. Thank you again, Douglas. Mike you out did yourself getting the old Coca cola place. Huge show rooms, big ass fire place, bathrooms are huge. You can walk in and not have to worry about knocking something over at all. I was really impressed on how your made us of the place and how the place was arranged.

All you need now is a place to eat and you will have it made. I did buy two T shirts, the ladies behind the cash register where great to deal with, they asked all kind of questions making sure I did have everything I was looking for. Great job to Kimberly and Stacey, these girls are great to deal with. Paul came out asked me if I was in the market to buy and I had to tell him no.

Just bought a house. Over all I had a great experience their. My husband & I toured the new dealership & store with Jason yesterday afternoon.

He was as gracious and friendly in making sure our many questions were answered completely. What a difference I felt in coming to the new digs. The new place has enough space to accommodate a whole variety of Harley-Davidson merchandise. Should one need service or a baby shower gift, it truly will be one-stop shopping' now! I have high hopes in the HOG chapter. We have been members of five HOG chapters since 1988, with a little polish this one has the potential to outshine them all.

Thank you to Jason for renewing my interest in doing business with and shopping at Mikes Famous, CT. The 'old time' feeling to the building with it's rough-hewn barn boards reminded me of 'The shed' that started it all in the Davidsons backyard. In a phrase 'I Love it.' Success to you all.

Saturday March 8th was a warm gorgeous day and the sun was shining bright.bright inside MFHD during my first visit at your new place of business. As I step foot through the main entry vestibule, two thoughts came to mind; massive & I'm staying here awhile. Mike's new location has sincere Harley personality, clever theme, nostalgic energy and without a doubt - one of a kind. Correct blends of renovation all done in good taste and 1st class, result in the perfect transformation for a comforting Harley purchase atmosphere.

The 55,000 sq feet of polished floor space is visually overwhelming and a true testament of the volume of work involved making it difficult to put into words. A building that once served the general population's most famous soft-drink now offers the most famous motorcycles. Also looking forward to additional future improvement plans on the drawing board for the sitting area w/fire place, very first Harley-Davidson store structure rendition replica and the huge event parking lot all of which compliment and add to it's unmatched character. I've caught myself saying to friends & colleagues; prepare to be pleasantly welcomed and accommodated by a modern day state of the art HD dealership right in the heart of New England. For those contemplating a move South, they may want to reconsider because it all seems to be here readily available at Mike's famous HD to include a family friendly talented staff.

I purchased my 2014 Softail late August 2013 from MFHD, now certain & glad I chose Mike's particular dealership especially after their strategic relocation along the shoreline in new London, CT. Thank you for the spectacular 'walk through' tour. Just bought my FIRST Harley from - 2012 Street Glide.

Just a few weeks after my dad purchased his first (he is 50, I'm 25). I must say, Mikes has made this experience very easy and a smooth transition to this new bike. Everyone at the dealership was very personable and welcoming. Ive been to many other harley dealers but i chose to drive an hour to purchase from Mikes and would do it again! I have nothing but good things to say about the purchase experience at Mikes.See you guys for the next one.LETS RIDE!!!! The Call after the Purchase Three months after the purchaseit was nice to receive a call from the dealership in how my Harley was running, any issues I might be having, or the accessories I had added to my wife's Switchback.

What was very surprizing was Kimberly from motorclothes who graciously informed us about the new line of fall/winter clothing that was readlly available. Not being a stranger to Harley purchase's from other dealerships, I thought this was far beyond from the standard customer service. We brought a few items and received a discount due to a Veterans Promotion that was being offered. No matter which Harley Dealership anyone goes into, the rider deserves to be treated with respect and give the knowledge from the staff. Joe, (General Manager) is very personable. He makes sure the customer is satisified with any cycle that is purchased. Kimberly, (Motorclothes) Carole (Parts), and Russ (sales) and the staff at Mike's do put out that extra effort.

It is a pleasure going into that dealership. The only comment that I could possibly make, is finding a bigger home then the Blue Shoe Box' they are currently in. As I hear, this is forth coming. Thank you, Craig (loyal customer). It's been about a month since taking delivery of my 14' Breakout ordered with factory custom Hard Candy Chrome Flake paint. After several hundred miles, there's no doubt it's a head turner, loaded with tremendous torque and absolute thrill to ride.

I want to personally thank the entire staff @ MFHD of Groton, CT. For the professional service and accommodations throughout the purchase and delivery process. Joe-Sales specialist, Doc-Finance expert, Kimberly-merchandising wizard and Russ-Planner, courteous & knowledgeable who made it a point to be sure I was completely satisfied. My overall experience was extremely positive & recommend future HD buyers to visit MFHD and be their own judge. PS: Kyle and John always acknowledged me as a potential customer and was one reason why I returned a second time to make my formal purchase.Matt Clinton, CT. Just wanted to share something that happened to me.

I recently purchased a new 013'SE Road Glide from the dealership. The person that i worked with on finding my bike gave his name as Mike.

Mike far exceeded my expectations regarding customer service, communications, respect for people and I'm in the customer service business. When i came in to pick the bike up i asked for Mike and was told he was out of town, I asked is he was the sales manager and the reply was, no he's the owner'. No exaggeration here when i say that i was blown away to hear that an owner would take the time to treat me as he did. I'm the Director of facilities for a public school system and provide service to over 8000 children, parents and teachers. Mike 'schooled' me. I can't thank him and his financing staff enough Huge kudos to Mike, Doc and Chris for making my experience most memorable. Mike's has earned my respect and future dealings for life.

Just AWESOME!!! Mike's Famous did it. Now it was with a BRAND NEW 2012, Dyna Switchback.

I didn't think it was possible to purchase another Harley and receive a deal as well as the customer service my wife and I had experienced from Mike's Famous 2 years later. However, we did.

A special thank you to Christopher (sales) and Joe (sales manager) they actually went far beyond ANY other Harley dealership. We went to 5 dealerships within a 120 mile radius too. Taking nothing away from the other dealerships, Mike's dealership were head & shoulders above the rest. Personnel I had directly associated with were; in sales, (Christopher) service, (Adam) motorclothes, (Kimberly), and General Manager (Joe), others were involved with my purchase and they all preformed to exceed my expectations, a job well done. A pleasure at this dealership. Not for just one purchase, or two, now it has been three.

My first Brand New Harley. A job well done! If anyone is looking for a Harley, the place to stop by and relax without the pressure of sales, to go on an escorted test ride, is at Mikes Famous. Mikes staff will make you feel very welcomed. A special thank you to Joe, (sales manager). He made it all possible for this purchase.

We chose to wait for the 2013 CanAm Spyder RT's, after testing them since 2010, they are a great product.

I want this to be more about the dealership than the product we chose, to put it simply, Mikes Famous is the best. I don't know the entire staff by name, but this was the most courteous group of people I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Special thanks to Russ (my sales planner) and Jason who heads up an awesome service staff.

Adam, Cliff, Debi, Carol, Joe and John and all, you made me feel like family. One last very special thanks to Mike Schwartz for taking the time out of his busy day to call me and make me feel like a friend not a customer.

Do yourself a favor if your in the market for a new machine or just want to meet some really cool people, Mikes Famous. Oh, and take a good look at the Spyders. DaveF, Greene RI. The best Harley dealer on the planet! That about sums it up, Doc and the crew treated me like gold when I came to purchase a new bike. Mike's wants to sell bikes and the team at Mike's famous is second to none. My brother and I traveled to all the dealerships looking for the best deal and found it at Mike's.

As Doc said, buying a motorcycle should be fun and it was more than that. From Doc and his sales team to Carol in parts, the crew in service and Harley gear sales, the delivery team, this has been the best experience in my purchase of a bike ever, and I have bought 15 bikes in my life time. This dealership brought back memories of my Dad and I going to the local Harley dealer when they were like going to a second home. Great people, great experience at Mike's Famous. I purchased a 2012 Sportster 48 and loved it, but being 6'1 240 had me feeling a bit big for the bike.

So i went to see my salesman Russ Jolly who once agian greeted me promptly and introduced me to a 2012 switchback in red and then black. We did another deal and Mac and the finance team kicked but to make it happen I took delivery of the switchback in black and right before I left talked with a customer with Russ about my traded in sportster 48.I'm sure it will find a great home. I sure did making my purchase at Mikes. Thanks to Russ,Mac and thanks to the service dept when I did 1000k on my 48. I even got to meet Mike its a very friendly place and thank Anna for just being cute. Continued succsess. Bryon Harris.

I have dealt with a couple of dealerships before and I have never been treated like I have been at Mike's! I proudly traded my 04 Heritage in for my now 'new to me' 09 Ultra Classic, and I have to say Joe, (who says 'I don't sell bikes, I make friends!), was very knowledgable and a great guy. He and the sales staff jumped thru hoops to keep me on budget.

The poker run was fun and I was amazed on how lucky I am in cards, LOL. By the time I rode off I felt like one of the family! But then came a near miss.a Sunday afternoon on a fundraiser run, with my wife on back, I had a front wheel bearing let go and good thing it was at low speed. I called Mike's and when I told Doc what happened the first thing out of him mouth was, 'Are you ok!?' , we were a little shaken but fine I told him. Again I felt like one of the family because they were honestly concerned.

Doc assured me they would come right out and pick up the bike to repair it. Josh picked us up in less than an hour and brought us home safe.

Service had the bike repaired Tuesday afternoon, unfortunately I could not get a ride to pick it up due to work so they actually delivered it to my house! I cannot say enough about the staff at Mike's, they go above and beyond in customer service! Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!!! I purchased a pre-owned bike from Mike's and couldn't be happier with the GREAT customer service I received.I want to thank Kendall,Joe,Doc,Kyle and Mac and the service and recon depts.

For the outstanding and quick service to get my bike ready for delivery within 2 hours after getting there.I drove Kendall and Joe crazy. But they came through and gave me an unbelievable deal.Would definetely do businness with them again and highly recomended them to everyone looking for a bike whether it's new or used or Harley or not, they will treat you like gold. They are a first class dealership!! THANKS AGAIN Kendall and Joe, I apreciate everything you guys did. Jim, East Providence,R.I.

I'd like to say thank you to everyone at Mike's. Especially George, Brian, and Mac.

You guys were great!! George was extremely knowledgeable and fit the right bike to me. I wasn't sure what I wanted nor knew what to look for.

He literally sat me on every bike. He was very clear he wasn't concerned with what I wanted to spend but what was comfortable. I just wanted to say thank you for making me feel like I made the right choice. Brian priced the bike where it needed to be for me to take it home and made me feel like I held the cards. Mac tied it all together and saved me more money by allowing me to take advantage of my military exemption. Awesome customer service throughout the whole process.

This was my first motorcycle purchase and I feel I got an excellent deal for me. I'm so glad I listened to my friends and walked through those doors. Of coarse this was NOT my first Harley Davidson purchase. We had known this dealership for years.

Through the good and the bad, this dealership had turned thier Customer Service around to accommodate the buyer. We first started off with Lindsay.

She was talking to my wife about the different riding women do. This was her 1st Harley, and it would be her only Harley. So, it had to be special! George in sales, was patient and then when it came down to the number crunching it had to fit my budget, not thier profits. I like to do the research first, then I present my offer.

Eric Alonzo On Twitter: Xc: Much Success For Macbook

It so happens we were looking at the best Harley in the showroom. We didn't have high expections. However, the staff was considerate, respectful, and accommodating in all aspects of this purchase. I like the introduction with a poker run. The luck of the cards.

The sales manager and general manager were making sure I was at my pace and not having a pressure I had delt with from another Harley dealership. This was pleasent, and service was caring for the Deluxe as the bike shined like no other. I like to add, Thank you. I found Mikes Famous HD on looking for bikes on the internet. I found what looked like an my ideal bike 2005 Road King Custom (red) and contacted Craig Schmechel with a few questions.

Craig was awesome! He took the time to understand what I was looking for, gave me all the particulars on the bike I was interested in, and worked out a great deal with me over the phone. After the sale Craig made sure everything from his end was perfect, right to the point of getting it loaded on to the truck to ship my bike to my home in Nebraska! Great place to do business!

Thanks Craig! You guys made me feel like part of the family.

Heidi made me an offer I could not refuse. She is the best! Mac took care of my sale and delivery. He introduced me to everyone in all the departments. Jesse and Carol were great helping me purchase the right parts and accessories for my new bike from the parts and accessories department.

Jeff got me a better deal on my financing than I got for myself and I thought mine was great. What can I say but you guys have a customer for life. Thank you one and all. The service dept did a great job setting up and detailing my new bike.

I look forward to having it serviced here at Mike's Famous Harley. I waited for my first full riding season to be over before submitting this: Searched and reviewed for months the various makes and models.

From the patience of Mikes Harley sales folks to the great people in the service department, this has been an extremely satisfying experience. I knew I wanted a bike large enough to carry a passenger, me and our stuff for a quick weekend getaway, yet small enough to have fun on by myself. I also knew that I wanted to buy the bike from the dealership that would service it. With every model I looked at I kept coming back to the Road King. I kept coming back to Andy and he showed real patience with me.

This literally took a couple of months. Finally I settled on what I wanted. And Mikes didnt have it. Not to worry, 2 days later I was told that they had found my bike in Pittsfield, Ma. They went and got the bike and delivered it to my driveway.

Upon unloading we noticed a small paint blemish on one of the bag lids. The next day they ordered a new lid. If the bike wasnt perfect when I got it, they made it that way.

The folks at Mikes wont settle for less. The crew at Mikes is always friendly and it seems that they remember everyone and the bike they have. Throughout the season, I tend to wander in whether I am purchasing anything or not. Sometimes I stop in to just visit and others to bounce ideas off of Billy, Carol, Jessica and anyone else there for the next touch to personalize my bike. They are outstanding folks, one and all, and have great ideas. The Road King is large enough to carry everything you need for a weekend trip and still have plenty of power to get up a go when passing on the interstate while being fully loaded with two people.

The Road King is a really stable, comfortable machine. We ride for hours without that stiffness others talk about. Yet when I am by myself on the twistes, she is responsive and agile. Like others the only complaint I have is the 5th gear whine. It seems that Harley heard us and redesigned 5th gear for 2010. The machine has plenty of torque and a very comfortable ride. The 4 point rubber engine mounting system has all but done away with the vibrations that Harleys were known for.

Having virtually no inseam, I outfitted the bike with a Reach Seat. This pushed me forward and lowered my legs enough to comfortably hold the bike at a red light. She is heavy (800 lbs) and you need to respect the fact that if you drop it, you won't be picking it up by yourself.

With everything from the windshield to the backrest being quick disconnects, you can radically change the look of the bike within seconds. Long road trip, windshield, back rest & luggage rack go on. Riding by myself without any interstates, off everything comes and you have a classic, big muscled bike. I would recommend the Road King for anyone who wants that in-between bike. Not a heavy cross country cruiser yet not a bare bones bike. If this is you, get the Road King and go to Mikes to get it!!! Mikes Famous staff went above and beyond for me on a Sunday after the store had closed for the day.

Eric alonzo on twitter: xc: much success for machines

We were going to the fireworks when my 2003 roadglide blew the oil gage and I had to pull over off the ramp. I went to Mikes and noticed that they had just closed but still inside so I called and Stacy answered and I explained my issue and she opened the door for me. Then Chad helped me with what I needed and took his time to make sure that I had the right part. I was so thankful and grateful that Mikes staff went totally above and beyond for me. I recommend anyone with any interest in a purchase or anything Mikes Famous is the place. They are the BEST!!!

Love my new Ultra!!! These guys and ladies are great, from my salesman, the store manager, and Finance Manager Jim Taylor. I got a great deal on an absolutely fabulous bike. They did everything humanely possible to put me on this bike.

I was treated respectfully and everything was explained fully. They made sure I understood everything and were willing to go over things a couple times even finance questions I had AFTER the sale. This is THE dealership to buy your next HD from. Customer for Life, you bet Thanks for everything Dave Blanchette Time2Ride.

I only stopped in yesterday 6/25/09 to look at the bikes and get an idea of what I would look for at private sales. Craig came out and talked to me about the preowned bikes there and I ended up taking one on a test ride, crdit app was run and I ended up with a beautiful 2003 FXDL with only 5500 miles. Craig spent alot of time with me and never made me feel rushed in any way.

James gave me the numbers I was looking for, actually he gave better. I couldn't rate parts or service yet because haven't had anything done yet but I did meet them and once again great group of people. Thank you to all I FINALLY own a HARLEY!!!!

Took Heidi up on her challence to trade in my Sportster. Traded up to a 2009 Dyna Superglide.

Damn what a bike. Had an FXR years ago in the same color with a 1340. Now to have this bike looking like that one and a few extra ponies. Now all I need is the drag pipes. Thank you Heidi you are a doll. And George you were excellent. And but of course Jim Taylor.

Hell of a birthday present don't cha think. And down in parts Carol I love you. You fixed me up with some super stuff and it's all the bike. Mike's Famous you're the best and we'll be dealinf for a long time to come. Dave Gada (Gator). I bought my bike probably 10 years later then I wish I had, I have found that at mikes thru everything from parts to just stopping in,they Know me, know my bike and we all have become friends.

I actually enjoy just stopping in seeing FRIENDS, because thats what it's become, From the sales staff down to the service staff, mikes is the best.I only wish I had this relationship with my car dealer.HEY MIKES YOU GUYS (AND GIRLS IN PARTS AND SERVICE ARE THE BEST I LOVE STOPPING BUY, BUT YOU ALLREADY know that. I Do feel that I an a part of the Mikes family. The best dearler on the East coast, trust me I delt with alot.BUT, I now have friends. Heidi: I would like to thank you for the professional courtesy extended towards myself regarding the purchase of my 09 Road Glide. Myself, being in the Business can appreciate this more than most people.

The main reason I decided to buy from Mike's Famous is because of my sales person George Welte. George took the time with me, and did not try to rush me out the door for the next customer. He followed up with me when he said he would, and answered all of my questions.

From my obsevations The whole staff at Mike's Famous were very caring, and professional. Again thanks Heidi! My girlfriend, Tricia Elder bought her first motorcycle from ya'll on Sat 10-18. I was with her and have been riding motorcycles for a long time. I have a 2003 Road King.

She bought a 2008 FLHX and I want to thank you for the way George and the rest of the staff treated her! The whole staff was outstanding and welcomed her into the Harley Family so well that she wants to do nothing but ride! We put almost 200 miles on it on Sunday and she is thrilled! Thanks again for taking care of her and showing her an outstanding sales experience all around! It was in July of 2006 that i rode into Mike's for the first time. I rode in on a Honda 750.

I wasn't planning to buy a bike that day. I was looking for info as I was waiting until the winter of 2007 to buy. Heidi said hello to me and asked if she could help me. I told her my plan and she asked that when I did buy if I wanted to buy new or used.

I said it didn't matter. I asked her opinion on which Harley would be the right one for me. I told her up front I didn't want a sporster or dyna. Heidi showed me a 2003 Road King. I sat on the bike and I found it to be top heavy for me.

She then showed me a 2003 Heritage Softail. I guess she could tell by the smile on my face that I was in love with it. She nicely said to me that she knew I wanted to wait until winter to buy but If I wanted her to she would run the numbers. I was given a great trade on my Honda. I actually got what I paid for it on the trade in. So with the reade in valus set she ran the numbers.

In less then 5 minutes she came outside with her thumbs up saying it's yours. I rode that bike for 11 months and loved every mile I put on it. The day after I returned from Rolling Thunder 2007 I decided to go all the way. I went to Mike's and asked Heidi about the Ultra Classics. She said thats the way to go the way I ride. She also said that maybe I should go with the Electra Glide Classic because it would be a lower payment.

Well the amount of the payment between the both bike was $7 per month. So I took the Ultra.

I also have to say I lost very little money on my trade in. The staff at Mike's is the best you'll find at any Harley Dealer. They know every bike inside and out. They don't forget you after the sale. Some of the people I met who work at Mike's are no longet there. Most of them still are. To all of them past and present your all the best, and your all friends.

I will probably buy a Tri Glide Ultra in 2010 and I will buy it at Mike's. Also I have to mention Dan and his survice department. They are the best. I once had a problem with my Ultra that was my own fault and I couldn't drive my bike in. I went there at 7:30 on a Saturday morning. Dan sent a trailer to pick up my bike. I rode back to the shop with the driver.

They unloaded my dike and I was back on the road in less then an hour. That won't happen at any other Harley Dealer.

Or metric dealer. So I tip my hat to the men and women who work at Mike's.

I am a customer for life. Every department deserves more then the highest 5 star rating. I GOT MY 08 FXSTC 105TH BIKE FROM MIKES. I DID SOME HUNTING ALL OVER CT AND FOUND MIKES TO BE THE BEST DEAL ANY WHERE IN THE STATE. WHEN THEY SAY FRIEND FOR LIFE ITS NOT JUST A CATCHY SLOGAN THEY MEAN IT.

Hi, My twin grandsons and I collect zero balance gift cards from various Harley Davidson dealerships worldwide and we currently have 125 different Harley cards in our collection! We would love to have a card from every state. We ran across your website and would LOVE to add your cards to our ever growing collection. Your cards are awesome!

As a gesture of goodwill, would you please be able to send us zero balance, used, or non-activated (voided) gift cards to add to our FUN gift card collection. If the above is not possible - would we please be able to just purchase cards (no-activation required) for a nominal fee of 1 cent to $1.00.

(We also request that when you send us the cards that you wrap them in a piece of paper with all the edges folded so the envelope doesnt get ripped open in the postal sorting machine or use a securely sealed envelope.) It would mean so much to us and we would be so very appreciative. Thanking you so much in advance, Karen L. Pachowicz 9733 W. 173rd Avenue Lowell, IN 219-746-1023 p.s. We have had tremendous good luck in adding cards that we have seen on websites. Some of the businesses - for security reasons - are scratching off the magnetic strip on the back or writing VOID on the back of the card. If we have already contacted you I apologize - your business name comes up in many search engines (which is a good thing for you:) and thanks again if you have already sent or are going to send us gift cards!
